What is beautiful? Where does your concept of beauty come from? Is there beauty in negative situations? What happens to beauty as we age? The Japanese have a saying that translates to the idea that we live each moment only once: “ichi-go ichi-e”, meaning “one time, one meeting”. As nature unfolds in a kind of balanced harmony, all that is happening now cannot be happening in any other way. No two sunsets are ever the same. Even our objects of beauty are not the same each time we interact with them as they change, and we change. How do you appreciate beauty in the transience of things? Join us as we dwell in the experience of beauty and moments of intense presence.
This Dwelling session is free, and it is customary to purchase a beverage, snack or meal from the café.
